Building Renovation Updates

What’s happening at Project Art Works?

We have fundraised over £2 million pounds to renovate our buildings which were in urgent need of repair.

The photo shows the external view of Trinity Hall and the arches development of Project Art Works. Trinity Hall building in Hastings.

All of the renovations should be completed by September 2025, when there will be:

  • A new garden here in the yard at Trinity Hall for community use.
  • A new venue for the local community.
  • Accessible buildings with lifts and Changing Place facilities.
  • Green energy use

When finished we hope that this lovely neighbourhood will feel revitalised. Our new garden and planting will link with the Hastings Garden Town vision, “inspired by Great Dixter’s world-famous philosophy of creative ecology, combining horticultural innovation, biodiverse creativity to transform the public realm as an exemplary project in the region.”

The photo shows the internal view of the arch 3 development at Project Art Works. Large grids are in place that will support floors and walls in the build. The floor is made of sand waiting the floor to be built in. Construction tools lay about the site.

Please note the model above was created in 2023 and some of the plans have developed since then. There will no longer be a ramp connecting the sites.
